Wilbert D. Stevens, 72, of Chillicothe passed August 12, 2026.

He was born July 28, 1954 in Ross County to the late Wilbert S. and Florence Temple Stevens.

Surviving are daughter, Bettina Stevens and Kevin, of Chillicothe; brother, James (Sandy) Stevens, of Chillicothe; sisters, Ruth Sanford, Sally Stevens, all of Chillicothe; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son, Daniel Boone Stevens; brother, Steven M. Stevens; and a sister, Mellisa Hice.

Wilbert was a welder at Buckeye Steel and a bartender at Crosskeys Tavern.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Kevin and Joe, for helping Wilbert through his extended illness.

There will be no public services. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
