Willard “Willie” Colvin, 67, of Chillicothe died unexpectedly as the result of an accident on Monday, September 28, 2026.

He was born July 10, 1959 in Ross County to the late Emmitt and Marguerite Cretsinger Colvin.

Surviving are sisters, Patricia (Dean) Wray, of NC, Toni Estep, of Chillicothe and Peggy (Jim) Bodine, of Fairborn; many nieces and nephews, “Little Turkeys,” whom he loved dearly; two special nieces, Lori and Amy. He was predeceased by brothers, David and Michael Colvin; sisters, Barb and Lori Colvin, Donna Farnham, Carol Sue Detty, Toby Reynolds and Sharon Colvin.

Willie was a life-long resident of 246 Rozelle Creek Road, Chillicothe, Ohio. He would take a daily walk to Huntsmen Market for his scratch off tickets. Willie enjoyed vacationing with family, fishing and especially cooking “burnt chicken.”

To know him was to love him. Willie was one of a kind and truly one of the BEST!

A graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2026 in the Huntington Township Cemetery with speaker, Fred Leasure officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
