Aaron Copper, 50, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2025 following a brief illness.
Aaron was born on January 27, 1975 to Steven and Jeannie Copper. He leaves behind his wife, Stephanie Copper; father, Steven Copper; mother-in-law, Beverly Brady; an aunt, Farron Williamson; a brother, Caleb (Becca) Copper; a brother-in-law, Patrick Brady; a niece, Lizzy Copper; and a nephew Michael Copper.
Aaron also leaves behind a very special nephew, Kaliup (Madison) Brady and he looked forward to welcoming a great niece baby girl Amara Willow due in November. In addition, Aaron leaves behind a very special child in our family whom Aaron loved with all his heart, Mehkai “Kai” Morris. Our hearts will never be whole again because Aaron took a piece of each of us when he left for heaven.
Aaron was preceded in death by his mother, Jeannie Copper; grandparents, James and Jackie Potter; and a brother Joshua Miles Copper. Also preceding is grandparents, Robert Copper and Beverly Hughs and great grandparents, Ora Ethel and Crosby Hice and Laura Jane and Richard Miles Copper.
Aaron was a member of Light House Baptist Church and we should take comfort that he is with God along with his family and friends who went before him. He is no longer in pain, no longer confined to a wheelchair and has no more worries or the emotional pain that he struggled with for far too long.
Aaron was a generous and kind man and always helped others as much as he could. He loved music of all kinds and believed that music was the best therapy. He was never short on words to make you laugh. When he loved, he loved with all his heart. I don't think there was a bigger Cleveland Browns fan on this planet. He was able to watch the first preseason game and he told me several times that they looked good. Catch a browns game and think of him. Remember Aaron for those wonderful qualities. Smile when you think of him.
A special thank you to Dr Collins Okolie and Dr Brock Liden. You both always went far above and beyond what was expected to give him the best care. You both grew to be like family and Aaron loved and appreciated you both.
A Celebration of Aaron’s Life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2025 in Lighthouse Baptist Church with Pastor Ryan Bevan officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
