Allan Lee Rowland, 66, of Chillicothe, died 7:01 a.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in the Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.
He was born March 5, 1955, in Wellston, to Edward C. and Betty F. Whetzel Rowland.
Surviving are his mother, Betty F. Rowland; sisters, Debbie (Gary) McFadden, Brenda (Brian) Boggs, Gina (Claude) Gray and Cheryl Morton, all of Chillicothe; nephews, Matt White, Eric Boggs, Brad (Sierra) Morton, Levi McFadden and Colton Morton; and two great nieces, Jaidan and Mazie. He loved his trusty sidekick, Buster. He was predeceased by his father, Edward C. Rowland and a special niece, Carrie Anne McFadden.
Allan attended the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church. He served in the United State Marine Corps, retired from C.C.I. and was a member of American Legion Post 62. Allan was a 1973 graduate of Unioto High School. He was known for his kindness and was very generous to those in need.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 in Floral Hills Memory Gardens where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. There will be no public calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
