Annabelle L. Sheets

     Annabelle L.  Sheets, 93, of Chillicothe, passed at 11:03 a.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2025 in Copper Knoll Health and Rehab in Washington Court House, Ohio following an extended illness. 

     She was born October 10, 1931, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Lonnie and Cecila Erwin Collins.  On June 26, 1948, she married William D. Sheets who passed May 10, 1998. 

     Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Gary Prater, of Chillicothe and Pam and James “Jim” Jr. Anderson, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Craig (Laura) Prater, Westerville, OH, Paula (Greg) Manson, Chillicothe, Trisha (fiancé, Shawn Miller) Prater, of Chillicothe, and Amanda (Matt) Bosart, of Hilliard; great grandchildren, Emily Jean (JD) Callahan, of Chillicothe, Zachary (Lilli) Bodary, of Chillicothe, Justin Manson, of Columbus, Parker Bodary, of Chillicothe, Cody Prater, of Westerville, Kylie Prater, of Westerville, Nakita Miller, Chillicothe, and Logan Miller, of Chillicothe, Mallory Bosart and Landen Bosart, both of Columbus; great great grandchildren, Camree, Briar, Harrison, and Titus; a brother, Jimmy (Wanda) Collins, of Denison, TX; sisters, Naomi (Jim) Adkins, of Circleville and JoAnna VanBuskirk, of Circleville; and her faithful companion, her cat, Little Boy.  She was predeceased by sisters, Mary Whitten and Vera DePugh; brothers-in-law, Ronald Van Buskirk, Fred Whitten and Jacob DePugh.

     Annabelle retired from Unioto Elementary where she had worked in the cafeteria.  She is a member of Brookside CCCU and was a former member of Liberty Hill Christian Union Church where she had taught Sunday School for many years.

     Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2025 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Ryan Bash officiating.  Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday.
