Arnetta Carrico

   Arnetta Carrico, 74, of Londonderry, passed 7:58 a.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at her home.

   She was born December 1, 1949 in Chillicothe to the late Henry (Weasel) and Ethel (McCorkle) Lawhorn. On March 4, 1972 she married Terry Carrico who survives.

   Also surviving are sons, Tracy (Denise) Carrico, of Waverly, Tad Carrico, of Londonderry, Tony (Missy) Carrico, of Frankfort; grandchildren, Blake, Brady and Ava Carrico, and Grant Noel; a sister, Freda (Richard) Hatfield, of Chillicothe; sisters-in-law, Carol Lawhorn, of Richmond Dale, and Sharon Kempton, of Londonderry and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Alonzo (Buster), Jerry, Henry (Bud) and Harry (Don) Lawhorn.

   Arnetta was a member of the Richmond Dale Baptist Church and retired with 25 years of service from the Southeastern Local School District.

   A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Bill Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11 a.m. until the service time on Saturday.
