Atom Steward

     Atom Steward, 16, of Greenfield, passed Monday, April 25, 2022 in Adena Medical Center – Greenfield unexpectedly.

     He was born June 6, 2005 in Fayette County, Ohio to Earl E. III and Melinda Butcher Steward.

     Surviving are his mother, Melinda Butcher; brothers, Alec Steward and Aries (Jessica) Steward; grandparents, Danny and Sheryl Butcher, Patricia Steward, all of Greenfield and Judith VanSickle, of Naples, FL; aunts, Megan (Rodger Cassell) Butcher, Danielle (Matthew Mottie) Graham, both of Greenfield, Tonita Hundley, of Naples, FL, Angela Lewis, and Demi Risso; uncles, Daniel (Theresa Gee) Butcher, of Piketon, Allen (Heath) Martin, of Greenfield and Robert Long, of Circleville; a nephew, Jayden Lewis, of Greenfield; a niece, Aurora Lewis, of Greenfield and a niece due to arrive in August, Jamie Steward; his faithful companion, his dog, AK; and numerous cousins, great aunts and great uncles. He was predeceased by his father, Earl E. Steward, III; great grandmother, Alma Jean Butcher; step grandfather, Troy Thomas; great grandparents, Linda and Lawrence Hester; and grandfather, Earl Edward Steward, Jr.

     Atom loved his dog, AK and enjoyed playing video games.  He enjoyed joking around and picking on others.  Atom also enjoyed listening to music. 

     Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2022 in the First Presbyterian Church, Greenfield, Ohio, with Pastor Mike Anderson officiating.  Burial will follow in South Salem Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church in Greenfield one hour prior to his funeral service on Wednesday.

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Ware Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
