Barbara A. Woollet Obituary

Barbara A. Woollet, 84, of Chillicothe, died 7:45 a.m. Friday, May 28, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born April 20, 1937, in Ross County, to the late Lewis H. and Dorothy Dove Merritt.

Surviving are children, Marcie Jackson, of Columbus, Edwin Long, of Chillicothe and Kristi (Kenneth) Howard, of Holden Beach, NC; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, David N. Long; a sister, Bonnie Smith; and an infant brother.

Barbara worked for the Ohio Department of Corrections.

A private graveside service will be held for family in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort, Ohio. Private viewing will be held for family. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
