Barbara Glassburn Forsythe Duncan, 78, of Lancaster, formerly of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord at 6:06 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2021, while surrounded by her children, in Grove City, Ohio following a brief illness.
She was born December 4, 1942, in Norfolk, VA, to the late Walden and Mildred Wheeler Glassburn. On March 31, 2001, she married John Duncan who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, C. Regina (Stuart) Forsythe-Tobin, of Jacksonville, FL; a son, Fred Forsythe, of Columbus; 3 step children; numerous step grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Judy Glassburn, of Hamden; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, David Glassburn; a granddaughter, Cara Danielle Bowling; and a nephew, Steven Glassburn.
Barbara was a 1961 graduate of Chillicothe High School and was the manager of the former Glassburn’s Pottery. She was of Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
A private funeral service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME, Chillicothe with Pastor Doug Cox officiating. Private calling hours will be held Friday evening. A public graveside service will be held approximately 12:30 p.m. in Green Mound Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio with Pastor Phil Manning officiating.
