Betty Thurman Obituary

Betty E. Thurman, 94, of Chillicothe, passed 10:10 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2022 in Care Core at Westmoreland.

She was born September 13, 1927, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late James T. and Elizabeth Justice Clements. On June 28, 1953, she married Henry L. Thurman who passed July 1, 1991.

Surviving are a brother-in-law, Dennis Wooldridge, of Chillicothe; nieces, Brooke (Mike) Adams, of Londonderry, Morgan Adams, of Londonderry and Rebecca Riley, of Canal Winchester; a nephew, Caleb Adams, of Londonderry; a great niece, Stephanie (Steve) Blades, of Canal Winchester; and a great great niece, Elizabeth Blades, of Canal Winchester. She was predeceased by sisters, Patricia Riley and Vicki Wooldridge; a brother and sister-in-law, Earl Thomas and Dorothy Clements; a nephew, Robert Riley.

A private graveside service will be held Thursday, August 18, 2022 in Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor John Evans II officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
