Betty Jean Wills

     Betty Jean Wills, 82, of Chillicothe, passed at 7:33 a.m. Sunday, September 21, 2025 in Chillicothe Post Acute following an extended illness.

     She was born October 2, 1942, in Ross County, Ohio, to the late Mason and Edna Speakman Collins.

     Surviving are sons, Herschel (Tamara) Wills, of Chillicothe, Joseph Wills, of Chillicothe, Steven Wills, of Chillicothe; daughters, Valerie (Rick) Bevins, of Jackson, Vicki (Fred) Bruce, of Chillicothe, and Lorrie (Charlie) Blevins, of Chillicothe; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a brother, Carl Collins, of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Larry Wills; a great grandson, Quinton; and sisters, Zelma Wills, Annabelle Hamm and Elizabeth Blair. 

     Betty was a nursing assistant for 21 years, most recently at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center where she retired.  She enjoyed her family and cooking for them.  She especially enjoyed making homemade noodles.  Betty liked to watch NASCAR, sports and reading. 

     Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, September 26, 2025 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Butch Cooper officiating.  Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
