Betty Jean Zdenek Obituary

Betty Jean Zdenek, 79, of Chillicothe, passed on May 11, 2025 at her residence unexpectedly.

She was born August 21, 1945, in Columbia, MO, to the late Gordon and Hazel Johnston Bibb.

Surviving are daughters, Michele (Brad) Bates and Caitlin Walker; grandchildren, Ryan (Kate) Karnik, Kayla (Grant) Christensen, Joshua Gotfried, and Owen Gotfried; and great grandchildren, Kristen Karnik, Jax Christensen, Eliana Karnik, Charlotte Karnik, Nash Christensen, and Liam Christensen.

Betty was a strong, independent woman who loved her grandchildren and friends and will be missed by many.

Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME. Any services will be announced at a later date.
