Bonnie Heaton

     Bonnie Heaton, 80, of Chillicothe, died 10:55 a.m. Monday, September 20, 2021 at her residence following a brief illness.

     She was born March 25, 1941, in Chillicothe, to the late William and Ollie Hesson Mick.  On January 3, 1992, she married Samuel Heaton who died November 9, 2013.

     Surviving are sons, Rick (companion, Dory Wilson) Fletcher, of Frankfort, Chris (Brenda) Fletcher, of Chillicothe and Robert (Taresa) Fletcher, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Robert Fletcher, JD Fletcher, Christina Fletcher, Sam Fletcher and Dwight Hickle; several great grandchildren; sisters, Sharon (Francis “Danny”) Daniels, of Waverly, Sandy (Chester) Burns, of Chillicothe, and Kelley (Raymond) Deavers, of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Becky Mitchell; sisters, Norma Imboden; and a brother, Samuel Miller.

     Bonnie was a life member of the VFW Post 108 Auxiliary and AMVETS Post 4 Ladies Auxiliary.

     A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Jim Morgan officiating.  Burial will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
