Bonnie I. Schmidt, 70, of Chillicothe, died 11:07 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021 in the Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center following an extended illness.

She was born February 24, 1951, in Chillicothe, to the late Martin and Lois Hammer George.  On September 27, 1975, she married Kenneth C. Schmidt who died July 2, 1995.

Surviving are companion of 32 years, Ronald L. Kellough, of Chillicothe; children, Paul D. (Michelle) Schmidt, of Chillicothe and Timothy E. (Mary) Schmidt, of Waverly; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; a brother, Bob (Brenda) George, of Chillicothe; and sisters, Martha Jane McCoy, of Chillicothe, Saundra Bean, of Michie, TN and Rayma George, of Ohio.  She was predeceased by a daughter Angela Gorman; brothers, Larry and James George; father, Martin George; and mother and step father, Lois and Harry Schrader.

Bonnie retired from Herrs.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Bud Lightle and Buddy Gragg officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
