Bonnie Sue Fyffe, 73, of Chillicothe passed 1:11 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2026 at the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was born May 5, 1952, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Junior and Bernadine Fyffe Moats. On September 3, 1978, she married Donald Fyffe, Jr. who preceded her on January 21, 2026.
Surviving are a son, Daniel (Andrea “Andi”) Fyffe, of Waverly; a daughter, Mary (Jason Posey) Detillian, of South Salem; a daughter-in-law, Vesta Detillian, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Nathaniel (Morgan) Fyffe, Greg Fyffe, Baylee Fyffe, Haylie Fyffe, Christina Davis, Bryce Parks, Myiah Ramsey, Cassandra Newland, Sierra (Stephen) Boggs and Brady Arnold; numerous great grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Irvin, of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her mother and stepfather, Bernadine and Ira Howard; father, Junior Moats; a son, Jamie Detillian; and brothers, Randy “Ted” and Ronnie Moats.
Bonnie was a faithful Wal-Mart shopper. She loved family cookouts and was an avid gardener and especially like tending to her roses.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Dennis Neff officiating. Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Saturday.
