Brenda Skaggs

Brenda Skaggs, 80, of Frankfort, Ohio, passed at 1:13 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2025 at her residence.

     She was born November 3, 1944, in Clintwood, Virginia, to the late Clive and Virginia Holt Fleming.  On January 30, 1965 she married Keith Skaggs who preceded her on January 7, 2024.

     Surviving are brother, Roger (Rose) Fleming, of Hillsboro and several nieces and nephews, including Tim (Carla) Long, who were her caretakers.  She was predeceased by a sister, Ramona Long; a brother, Ronald Fleming; a niece; and a nephew.

     Brenda was a homemaker.

     Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2025 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Ryan Bevan officiating.  Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Wednesday.
