Bryan R. Elder

Bryan R. Elder, 60, of Frankfort, passed at 2:06 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2022 at his residence unexpectedly.

     He was born March 21, 1962, in Chillicothe, to the late Charles and Edna Butterbaugh Elder. 

     Surviving are a son, Travis Elder, of Chillicothe; sisters, Gloria (Mike) O’Neill, of Columbus, Tina Hatfield, of Chillicothe and Carrie (Mike) Reeser, of Bainbridge; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Marlena S. Rooker. 

     Bryan was a 1981 graduate of Unioto High School and worked at Pixelle in the Woodyard.  He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

     A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME.  There will be no calling hours.  Following the service family and friends are invited back to his farm where the family will continue to celebrate his life.
