Camille S Guy

     Camille S. Guy, 69, of Chillicothe passed September 12, 2024 in Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. 

     She was born June 18, 1955 in Lancaster, OH to the late Mary Suemma Valentine. On June 15, 1974 she married Mark Phillip Guy who survives.

     Also surviving are daughters, Kathryn (Katie) Kerns (Michael) of Venice, FL and Sarah Alley (Brian) of Chillicothe; grandchildren Jacob Schleith, Ethan Kerns,  and Violet Kerns. She had many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and extended family that loved her dearly.

     She loved her family and loved the Lord even more. She was a great cook and a crafter of beautiful baby blankets and crocheted gifts. She loved making things for others. Camille retired from the Chillicothe and Ross County Public Library in 2015 after 27 years of service. She loved the people she worked with and had many friends from her years there.

     Camille was a long time member of Chillicothe Baptist Church. She and her loving husband and best friend, Mark served together as Sunday School teachers for more than 20 years.

     Camille would want people to remember her as a good wife, mother, mammaw, and friend. She was all of these things. She is celebrating in heaven with Jesus and she is still all of these things. Most importantly she is with her heavenly Father and will be ready to welcome her family and friends when we arrive. Hallelujah!

     Psalm 23 was her favorite Bible verse. Welcome home good and faithful servant.

     Her family will celebrate her life privately as were her wishes. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ware Funeral Home.
