Carl London Obituary

     Carl E. “Bud” London, 85, of Chillicothe, passed 3:20 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2023 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

     He was born October 18, 1937, in Chillicothe, to the late James and Alice Bennett London. On March 18,1961, he married the former Beulah “Bea” Richards who survives. 

     Also surviving are children, Guy F. (Vanita) London, of Chillicothe, Rhonda S. (Richard) Inboden, of Pickerington and Charles M. London, of Huntington, WV; grandchildren, April, Joshua, Joy, Christopher, Charles Jr., John, Chelsea, Chelsie, Clay, Zach and Brook; 19 great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Meyer, of Akron; several nieces and nephews; a wonderful church family, many friends and golf buddies and his beloved dog KiKi.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters. 

     Carl served in the US Navy during the Korean War.  He was a business owner, wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  Carl was an avid golfer.  He retired as a top agent / manger for Western Southern Life and was a member of the Chillicothe First Assembly of God.

     Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Saturday, January 28, 2023 in the First Assembly of God with Pastor Shaun Howard officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.  Friends may call at the Church from 10 a.m. until the start of the service on Saturday.
