Carl Michael Brust, Sr.

     Carl Michael Brust, Sr. AKA (MIKE) was the kindest loving man to walk this earth.  He passed at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 13, 2021 in the Adena Regional Medical Center.  

     He was born August 20, 1959, in Chillicothe, to Donald Sr. and Elizabeth Lawson Brust.  On August 26, 1977, he married the love of his life, the former Teressa Shaffer, who was his pride and joy.

     In addition to his wife, Teressa Brust, surviving are his kids, Carl M. Brust Jr. (Heidi Brust) and Cloressa Brust (Vern Viney); grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Chad Park, Carl Brust III, Levi Brust, Sammy Park and Ivry Park and Jeremy Smith; great grandchildren, Hunter Smith, Kelsey Smith, Joshua Smith Jr., Willow Brust, Delanee Smith, Nina Smith, Jace Smith, and Darian Smith; his mother Elizabeth Good; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; and numerous extended family members.  He was predeceased by his father, Donald M. Brust, Sr.; a brother Donald Brust, Jr. and a great grandson, Carl Michael Brust IV. 

     He was a rock to many people and did everything and anything to help you out.  People showed Mike respect and knew not to cross him.  He worked on cars all his life and was an avid racing fan.

     Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Mike Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.
