Carolyn A. Poole

     Carolyn A. Poole, 82, of Londonderry, passed at 6:35 a.m. Monday, December 30, 2024 in Brown Memorial Home, Circleville following a courageous battle with Dementia. 

     She was born January 13, 1942, in Ross County, to the late Franklin D. and Mary Margaret Mavis Higley.  On August 11, 1964, she married Raymond H. Poole who passed on December 8, 2009. 

     Surviving are daughters, Terri (Daniel) Woods, Lori A. Orr and Mary Jane Shanton; grandsons, Wyatt Shanton, Reed Shanton and Luke Shanton; a great granddaughter, Hadley Sue Shanton; brothers, Paul (Bobbie) Higley and Frank (Bev) Higley; and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Marlene Collins. 

     Though there will be no visitation or graveside services, Carolyn's memory will be honored privately by her children.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME. 

     In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Carolyn's memory to the Ross County Humane Society - 2308 A Lick Run Road - Chillicothe, OH 45601.
