Cary “Lone Wolf” Rinehart, 57, of Chillicothe passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026 unexpectedly.
He was born July 21, 1968, in Chillicothe, to Jerry Rinehart and the former Diane Barnett Rinehart Wells, both who survive.
In addition to his parents, surviving are a daughter, Cortney Rinehart, of Chillicothe; a granddaughter, Iyanna Darling; a brother and sister-in-law, Kirk and Andrea Rinehart, of Chillicothe; nephews, Lucas Rinehart and Julius Lee; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins with whom he shared lifelong bonds, including a special closeness with Shannon Gumm; and many friends including special friends, Lenny Netter, Richard Copp and Brett Sharp. He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, William and Bernice Barnett and paternal grandparents, Paul and Marcella Rinehart.
Growing up, Cary was passionate about playing sports. Cary attended the former Bridge Street Church of Christ. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye, Cincinnati Bengal and Cincinnati Reds fan. Cary will be remembered for sending consistent heartfelt morning messages to those he loved and he found great joy in each holiday season.
The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to Mandy Lee and Renee Park whose consistent support and meaningful connection played an important role with helping him engage with life.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
