Cathy Sue Evans

     Cathy Sue Daniels Evans, 70, of Chillicothe, passed at 1:22 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2025 in Chillicothe Post Acute unexpectedly.

     She was born June 11, 1955, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to Robert C. and Delitha Mae Pontious Daniels. 

     Surviving are her mother, Delitha Mae Daniels, of Chillicothe; children, Mandy Daniels, Jeremiah (Trish) Daniels, Marsha Woods, Pam Woods, Lucy Woods and Anthony (Jordayn) Woods; stepchildren, James Lee (Jessie) Woods; grandchildren, Jazmin, Maggie, Coral, Brooklyn, Annastasia, Jake, Savanna, Blake, Norman, Leeland, Aiden, Kaitlyn, Ashton, Katie and Ava; a great granddaughter, Nova; a brother, Randy (Darlene) Daniels; sisters, Patty Quincel and Tina (Roger) Woods; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Ashlie Sayre.  She was predeceased by her dad, Robert Cline Daniels; first husband, Norman Woods; and grandchildren, Rylee and Reed Woods.

     Cathy was a 1973 graduate of Chillicothe High School.

     The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the staff of Chillicothe Post Acute.

     Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2026 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Sam Mincey officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
