Celia C. Detty Obituary

Celia Detty, 77, of Kingston, passed 7:00 a.m. Friday, January 14, 2022 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born January 9, 1945 to the late Willis and Rosa Bode Lowery. On June 1, 1963, she married Arnold M. “Tim” Detty who passed September 18, 2014.

Surviving are children, Robin (Daniel) Mendenhall, of Kingston and Tim (Nancy) Detty, of Kingston; grandchildren, Nick Detty, Melissa (Ryan) Cade, Brian (Leah), Lylah, Karington, Brant, Levi, Annie, Lucy and Bentley Mendenhall; 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Pastor Carl Bode officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
