Charles C. Haynes

     Charles C. Haynes, 79, of Chillicothe, passed 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at the V.A. Medical Center.

     He was born November 30, 1944 in Circleville to the late Norwood B. And Nellie Taylor Haynes.  On August 30, 1968 he married Susan D. Minney who preceded him January 16, 2005.

     Surviving are sons, Heath (Roseanna) Haynes, of Chillicothe and Hugh Haynes, of Folley Beach, S.C.; brother, Gary Haynes, of London, OH; sisters, Sue Methany, of Florida and Brenda Haynes, of Nelsonville.

     Charles served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army.  He retired from Columbus Southern Power and was a member of the First Wesleyan Church. 

     A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family with military rites given by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard in Green Summit Cemetery.
