Clara F. Tisdale

     Clara F. Tisdale, 67, of Oak Hill, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family at 6:38 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2020 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

     She was born October 15, 1952, in Ross County, to the late George and Della Butterbaugh Ward. 

     Surviving are children, Carenna (Shawn Fyffe) Oaks, of Oak Hill, Billie Jo (Tim Matthews) Danner, of Londonderry, Ryan (Rick Straits) Danner, of Columbus and Brad (Savanna) Danner; long time companion, Earl Fyffe, of Oak Hill; a bonus son, Eddie Umphries, of Columbus; a dear friend, Merry Hernett Ryan, of Buffalo, NY; a grandchildren, Felicia, Shonna, Austin, Layce, Kayce, Cody, Junior, Paige and Eric; 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Detty and Rachel Tisdale; brothers, Joby (Patty) Ward and Dan Ward, all of Chillicothe; numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by an infant sister, Julia Ward and brothers, Joe and Ernie Ward.

     Clara was a fabulous cook.  She loved to gardening and caring for animals.  Clara had a heart of gold and will be missed by her family and many friends.

     A celebration of her life is being planned and will be announced soon on this website.  There will be no calling hours.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
