Clara J. Meade

     Clara J. Meade, 71, of Londonderry, passed at 3:31 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 in the Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.

     She was born May 16, 1950, in Ross County, Ohio, to Olen and Katherine Horsley Osborne.  On May 28, 1977, she married Johnny E. Meade who died July 8, 2006.

     Surviving are a daughter, Kim (Everett) DePriest, of Ashville; a son, Olen “Bryon” Meade, of Londonderry; grandsons, Blain DePriest and Thomas DePriest; a great grandson, Austin Jordan; mother, Katherine Osborne, of Londonderry; siblings, Garry (Pat) Osborne, John (Barb) Osborne, Karen (Clayton) Arnold, Gail (Russ) Neff, Avery (Diana) Osborne, Jay (Tammy) Osborne, and Marty (Tammy) Osborne; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her father, Olen J. Osborne.

     Clara retired from Parker Hannifin.  She attended Richmond Dale Church of God. Clara was a strong Christian woman and has left no doubt in our hearts and minds where she calls home today.  Her family is so very grateful for the light she shinned on the path to Christ for all to see.  We are happy to say, she has made it home to be with Jesus and her loved ones.    

     Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2021 in the Richmond Dale Church of God with Pastor John Evans, II officiating.  Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Church from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
