Clarence E. "Bud" James Obituary

Clarence E. “Bud” James, 86, of Chillicothe, passed 2:48 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at his residence following an extended illness.

He was born March 3, 1936, in Ross County, to the late Charles P. and Nellie A. Davis James. On May 19, 1963, he married the former Lois Cydrus who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Ned R. James, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Alicia and Amy James; 14 great grandchildren; and a sister, Lucille James, of Grove City. He was predeceased by a grandson, David Powell and a brother, Wayne “Shorty” James.

Clarence served in the United States Army. He retired from Chillicothe City Schools where he was a School Bus Driver. Bud was a life member of the Ohio Bowhunters Association and the Ross County Bow Hunters. Also, he was a member of Claylick Bow Hunters, the Ross County Conservation League and U.C.T.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Bruce Hines officiating. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME one hour prior to his funeral service on Saturday.
