Clarice Littler, 89, of Chillicothe passed 8:47 a.m. Thursday, August 4, 2022 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, unexpectedly.
She was born May 20, 1933, in West Alexandria, Ohio, to the late Emory E. and Vivian Williams Hevel. On June 22, 1957, she married Ernest E. Littler who survives.
Surviving are children, Kris (Mary) Littler, Diane (Bill) Neal, Marc (Janet) Littler, Michele (Jimmy) Corley, all of Chillicothe and Gregory (Julie) Littler, of Spokane, WA; grandchildren, Aaron Littler, of Chillicothe, Seth Littler, of Marysville, Hannah (Tyler) Morrissey, of Columbus, Jacob Littler, of Chillicothe, Marie (Brandon) Gill, of Bowersville, OH, Patrick Neal, of Columbus, Jon (Dan) Neal, Apollo Beach, FL, Kyle (Sarah) Littler, of Chillicothe, Kevin (Alyssa) Littler, of Chillicothe, Jennifer (Jeremy) Hughes, of Chillicothe, Matthew (Lacey) Derexson, of Frankfort, Andrew Derexson, of Chillicothe, Jimmy (Karie Davis) Corley, of Chillicothe, Joshua Corely, of Columbus, Leslie Corley, of Chillicothe, Tiffani Littler, Zachary Littler, Brittani Littler, all of Phoenix; 11 great grandchildren; a niece, Tami Brashears, of Dayton; and a nephew, Todd Williamson, of Huber Heights, OH. She was predeceased by sisters, Philadine Smith and Nadine Zerkle.
Clarice was a member of St. Mary Church. She had worked at the former Harts Department store for many years. Mostly, she loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2022 in St. Mary’s Church with Fr. Timothy Hayes, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday.
