Connie K. Matthews

Connie K. Matthews, 67, of Chillicothe passed 8:45 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025 at her residence.

   She was born October 5, 1957 in Tampa, FL to the late Beryl and Helen Wolfe Mitchell. 

   Surviving are son, Robert Matthews, of Chillicothe; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Leora Matthews, of Chillicothe and Donna Ward, of Muscatine, IA.  She was predeceased by sons, Darold and Thomas Matthews; brother, Jim Mitchell and infant sister, Jane Marie Mitchell.

   Connie was a homemaker for her family and was a Granny to everyone.

   Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rich Cottrill officiating.  Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday.
