Connie Jo Siders

Connie Jo Siders, 71, of Chillicothe passed 7:49 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2025 at her residence following an extended illness.

     She was born June 16, 1954 in Ross County to the late William T. “Bill” and Juanita Fairchild Sheets.  On July 3, 1972 she married Anthony W. Siders who survives.

     Also surviving are children, Diantha (Stephen) Ford, Stacia Ruby, Chad (Carrie) Siders, all of Chillicothe and Kristen (Ashley) Sermons, of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Corbin, Lane, Jarren, Riley, Reagan, Britton, Gracie and Makenna; great grandson, Sutton; sister, Becky (Walter) Taylor, of Cumming, GA.  She was predeceased by father and mother-in-law, James and Joan Siders.

     Connie was a 1972 graduate of Southeastern High School and obtained a teaching degree from Ohio University-Chillicothe in 1987.  She was a member of the Richmond Dale Church of God where she faithfully served as Sunday School teacher, youth leader, Bible School director and Christmas Play director.  Connie retired from Southeastern Schools after 30 years of teaching.

     In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to “Mission Family Ministries Food Bank” at Vinton County Bank or at the Richmond Dale Church of God.

     Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2025 at the Richmond Dale Church of God with Pastor John Evans, II officiating.  Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
