Curtis R. Adams, Sr.

     Curtis R. Adams, Sr., 58, of Chillicothe, passed at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2025 in the Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.

     He was born December 7, 1966, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Simon and Betty Taylor Adams.  On August 8, 1992, he married the former Teresa Horton who survives. 

     Also surviving are children, Lisa Pritt, Curtis Adams, Jr., Terisha Cox, Joshua Adams, Matthew Adams and Khristian Adams, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Gage, Zakairah, Kayley, Kaylynn, Corsica, Audrey, Madison, Jacob, Sophilia, Jayden, and Curtis III; a great grandson, Kayson and another baby girl on the way; a sister, Pamela Mayo; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a grandson, Hunter; two sisters, Carol Ann Schauseil and Brenda Sue Kimbler; and many other dear extended family members and friends.

     There will be no public services for Curtis.  Arrangements are under the directions of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
