Curtis L. Springer

     Curtis Lee Springer, 61, of Chillicothe passed 12:20 a.m. Sunday, May 10, 2026 in CareCore  at Westmoreland.

     He was born March 23, 1965 in Ross County to Willis A. Springer Jr. and Carolyn Sue (Lee) Springer.

     Surviving are his parents Willis A. Springer, Jr., of Springfield and Carolyn Sue (Lee) Springer, of Chillicothe; daughter, Eva Springer and fiancé,’ Donald Rice, of Jackson; grandchildren, Joey Springer, KatiLee Rice and Henry Rice; sister, Jodi Shackleford, of Chillicothe; special aunt, Sonja (Dan) Hines, of Chillicothe; nieces, Sierra (Dustin) Copper and Brittany (Kane Ross) Shackleford, both of Chillicothe. Several great nieces and great nephews.  He was predeceased by his grandparents, Paul and Marguarite Lee and Donald, Sr.and Dorothea Larie, and special friend, Jimmy Beatty.

     A Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Jefferson Avenue C.C.C.U. with Rev. Dan Hines officiating.
