Dane A. Foltz

     Dane A. Foltz, 58, of Chillicothe, passed 2:50 p.m. Thursday, January 13, 2022 at his residence following an extended illness.

     He was born May 4, 1963, in Ross County, to John and Sharon Hawk Foltz.  On September 4, 1999, he married the former Mandy Shaw who survives.

     In addition to his wife, surviving are his mother, Sharon Foltz, of Chillicothe; sons, Michael Foltz, of Grove City and Daniel Foltz, at home; a brother, Ryan (Jodi) Foltz, of Chillicothe; a sister, Shelley (David) Dyer, of Chillicothe; father-in-law and mother-in-law Jeff and June Shaw, of Chillicothe; nieces and nephews, Olivia (Kyle) White, of Frankfort, Deanna (Joe) Hartman, Brenden Foltz, and Meeha Foltz, all of Chillicothe; a great nephew, Harvey White; a special uncle and aunt, Fred and Marilyn Hawk; and cousins, Hans and Jamie Hawk.  He was predeceased by his father, John Foltz and a brother, Joseph Adam Foltz.

     Dane worked as a Mechanic for IBI Construction.  He was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed listening to and playing all types of music.   

     A graveside service will be held at approximately 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor Woodrow Wilson officiating.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the graveside service on Wednesday.
