Daniel R. Hess

     Daniel R. Hess, 58, of Chillicothe, passed at 12:22 a.m., Monday, July 29, 2024 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a three year battle with colon cancer.

     He was born July 3, 1966, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to Roger and Janet Kirk Hess both whom survive.

     In addition to his parents, surviving are children, Sean (Brittany Johnson) Hess, of Wellston, Landon Hess, of Marietta, Ryan Hess, of Utah and Kayla Hess, of West Virginia; 2 grandchildren including, Sylvia Hess; a brother, Darren (Andrea) Hess, of Ray; a sister, Julie Hess, of Columbus; an uncle and aunt, Craig and Billie Kirk, of Chillicothe; a great aunt, Margie Hammond, of Chillicothe; and a great uncle, Donavin Brown, of Frankfort; a niece, Bailey (Seth Jude) Bradley, of West Virginia. 

     Daniel served in the United States Navy.  He worked at Kirchhoff Automotive, Inc. in Waverly. 

     A memorial visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2024 in Richmond Dale United Methodist Church.  A dinner will follow the visitation for any family or friends who wish to attend.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME. 

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to NCR Hospice 681 E. 3rd Street Waverly, OH 45690.
