Danny L Mead

     Danny L. Mead, 82, of Chillicothe, passed at 4:54 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026 in Circleville Post Acute following an extended illness.    

     He was born January 17, 1944, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late John and Dorothy Cottrill Mead.

     Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Jayna Mead of Chillicothe, Bryan and Susan Mead of Circleville and Alan Mead of Chillicothe; daughter and son-in-law, Susan & Jesus Frausto of Burlington, N.C.; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a sister, Diane (Charles) Collins.  He was predeceased by 3 brothers and 5 sisters. 

     Danny worked as a Machinist at the former Mead Corporation. 

     A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2026 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Brad Jones officiating.  Burial will be held in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at a later date.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11am to 1pm prior to the service.
