Darold J. Grubb

     Darold J. Grubb, 89, of Chillicothe passed 9:55 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at the Adena Regional Medical Center.

     He was born July 12, 1935 in Ross County to the late Joseph and Elsie Shanks Grubb.  On July 6, 1954 he married Phyllis “Janie” Johnson who survives.

     Also surviving are children, Andy (Sherryl) Grubb, of Chillicothe, Becky (Brent) Stonerock, of Chillicothe and Randy “Bo” (Teresa) Grubb, of Glen Allen, VA; grandchildren, Brandon (Tracy) Grubb, Lindsey (Ross) Mahaffey, Travis (Sarah) Grubb, Jason Stonerock, Christopher Stonerock, P.J. Stonerock and Nicholas Stonerock; a  granddaughter-in-law, Tonja Grubb; 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; brother, Richard (Phyllis) Grubb, of St. Augustine, FL; many friends, including special friend, Patricia Shoemaker.  He was predeceased by grandson, Jeremy Grubb.

     Darold retired from the Mead Corporation. He was a member of Bethel Chapel C. U. Church and UPIU Local 731.

     Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Roger Phillips and Pastor Lou Watson officiating.  Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
