David Coy

David Coy, 79, of Chillicothe, died 3:03 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2022 at Adena Pike Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was born February 16, 1943 in Maysville, Kentucky to the late Theodore and Ruby Branham Coy.  In 1977 he married Eleanor Price who preceded him in death September 13, 2010.

Also surviving are children, Jefferson Coy, Rhonda (Louie) Coy, Tammy (Jay) Coy, Rick (Deb) Hice, Brian (Michelle) Hice and Jeff (Debbie) Hice; grandchildren, Tony Jaime, Chasity, Chad, Ashley, Misty, Colt, Dylan and Aleea, who he called his little buddy; many great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by son, John Hice and sister, Millie Justice.

David retired from Chilpaco after 36 years.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting, memorial contributions be made to WARE FUNERAL HOME 121 W. Second St., Chillicothe, OH 45601, to help the family with funeral expenses.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 13, 2022 in WARE FUNERAL HOME.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call from 5 -8 p.m. on Wednesday.
