David L Landman, 57, of Waverly, passed at 8:07 p.m. Sunday, September 22, 2024 unexpectedly.
He was born August 1, 1967, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to William and Shirley Smith Landman. On October 23, 2021, he married Arlene Landman who survives.
In addition to his wife, surviving are his father, Bill Landman, of Waverly; a daughter, Christy (Kenny) Stapleton, of Waverly; a grandson, Eli Parker; granddaughters, Mariah Landman and Leah Parker; a brother, Phillip Landman, of Waverly; sisters, Kristy (Rick Snodgrass) Landman, of Chillicothe, Mary Ann (Mike) Shaw, of Waverly, Billie (Craig) Kirk, of Chillicothe and Karen (Keith Johnson) Landman, of Waverly; former wife and mother of his son, Tami Riley; and special friend, Pete Elliott; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Joshua David Landman; his mother, Shirley Landman; a nephew, Joe Landman; and his faithful companions, his dogs, Harley and Max-Pad.
David was a 1985 graduate of Huntington and Pickaway Ross. He worked at Kenworth Truck Company. David had served in the United States Air Force and was a former member of AMVETS and the VFW. He was a longtime blood donor and continued saving lives by being an organ donor.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2024 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Larry Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Saturday.
