David M. McCoy

     David M. McCoy, 64, of Chillicothe, passed at Thursday, December 4, 2025 at his residence.

     He was born September 10, 1961, in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Richard H. and Phyllis J. Talkington McCoy. 

     Surviving are a brother, Richard McCoy; sisters, Patricia McCoy, Debra Ellifritt, all of Chillicothe and Karen (Terry) Morr, of Ashland, OH; nieces and nephews, Erin Morr, Nick (Whitney) Morr, both of Cleveland, Beth (Ian) Conery, of North Carolina, Holly (Aaron) Daily and Paul Ellifritt, of Chillicothe; an aunt, Evelyn Beckwith; and several great nieces and great nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Colleen McCoy and a brother-in-law, Donald J. Ellifritt.

     David was a member of Walnut Street United Methodist Church. 

     A celebration of his life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2025 in Brookside Church’s Porter Senior Center, 2215 Egypt Pike Chillicothe, Ohio, with Pastor Chuck Elliott officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
