Dean Merriman Obituary

Dean R. Merriman, 60, of Chillicothe, passed away 10:45 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2018 at his residence unexpectedly.

He was born May 27, 1958 in Chillicothe to Edgar and Georgia Hardman Merriman. On January 12, 1976 he married his wonderful wife the former Sharon Sue Hughes who died March 9, 2017.

Surviving are step children, Mike (Naomi) Ward, Melissa (Tom) Nerviano, Amy (Mike) Gumm and Mark (Pam) Ward, all of Chillicothe; many numerous, loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his father; a stepdaughter, Michelle Ward; a sister, Patricia Murdock; two brothers, JR Merriman and Steve Scott.

Dean was a self-employed landscaper and a member of Christian Life Tabernacle.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2018 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Phillip Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. prior to the service on Monday.
