Denver Moore

     Denver Moore, 70, of Chillicothe, passed 2:47 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at his residence.

     He was born June 22, 1952 in Manchester, Kentucky to Conley and Eula Owens Moore.  On August 9, 1970 he married Diane Lemaster, they had been married for 52 years.

     Surviving are sons, Michael Moore and Brian (Tricia) Moore both of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Brittany (Gage) Hickman, Sammie (Jesse) Martin and Haylee Moore; great grandson, Harvey Hickman; sisters, Catherine Lair of KY, Debbie Sandlin of N.C., Peggy (Gene) Zandierendonck of KY, Millie Ballard and partner Shane Helms of N.C.; brother, Conley Dwayne (Patty) Moore of MO; several loved nieces and nephews; including Heidi Lowery, Dana Moore, Jessica Moore and Todd Bostic; many special cousins, including Pearl and Dawn.  He was predeceased by mother, Eula Moore; father and step-mother,  Conley and Helen Moore; brothers, Ernest and Eddie Moore; sisters, Vernie Bosstic, Cathy Fields and Wilma Bowling; nephew, Phil Moore.

     Many looked to him as a father, superhero and role model.  A special place for Mike (Kim), Shane (Marcey), plus too many to name, but all held a special place in his heart.  He gave a helping hand to anyone who needed it.  Denver was happiest under the hood of a car, surrounded by his loving kids and grandkids who were his entire world.

     Denver retired from Thompson Consumer Electronics/RCA after 33 years where he was an equipment operator.  Denver was a veteran of the Army who proudly served his country for 3 years.

     Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2022 in WARE FUNERAL HOME with Minister Leonard Roop officiating.  Burial to follow in Huntington Township Cemetery.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
