Donald Fyffe, Jr.

     Donald Fyffe, Jr., 68, of Chillicothe, passed at 11:14 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2026 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

     He was born March 18, 1957, in Ross County, Ohio, to the late Donald Sr. and Rosemary Shelkey Fyffe.  On September 3, 1978, he married the former Bonnie Moats who survives. 

     Also surviving are a son, Daniel (Andrea “Andi”) Fyffe, of Waverly; a daughter, Mary (Jason) Detillian, of South Salem; a daughter-in-law, Vesta Detillian, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Nathaniel (Morgan) Fyffe, Greg Fyffe, Baylee Fyffe, Haylie Fyffe, Christina Davis, Bryce Parks, Myiah Ramsey, Cassandra Newland, Sierra (Stephen) Boggs and Brady Arnold; numerous great grandchildren; a brother

Mark Fyffe, of Waverly; a sister, Brenda Tackett, of Waverly; a brother-in-law, Bobby Miller; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.  He was predeceased by a son, Jamie Detillian; a brother, James Fyffe; sisters, Barbara Miller and Donna Slaughter

     In 2019, Don retired from Melvin Stone where he had worked for many years.  He always enjoyed having family cookouts.    Don was a great dad and grandpa and will always be remembered for his dedication to his family.

     Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2026 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Dennis Neff officiating.  Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery.  Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Wednesday.
