Donald R. "Dick" Hunter

     Donald R. “Dick” Hunter, 89, of Chillicothe, passed on Thursday, July 31, 2025 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following complications of Alzheimer’s.

     He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Ruth Hunter.  

     Surviving are children, Donald J. (Jeff Goodman) Hunter, Richard (Lori, deceased) Hunter, Jo (Gary) Clever and Robert (Deanna) Hunter; grandchildren, Lacey, Jake, Stefanie, Justin and Ryan; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, the former Judith George and brothers, Lawrence Miller and Morris Miller. 

     Dick attended the First Wesleyan Church.  He retired from the Mead where he had worked as an Electrician.  Dick was a United States Army Veteran.

     In keeping with his wishes, a private graveside service will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
