Donald W. Seymour

     Donald W. Seymour, 82, of Chillicothe, passed away 12:35 a.m. Sunday, December 19, 2021 at his residence unexpectedly.

     He was born July 17, 1939, in Chillicothe, to the late Nolan and Helen L. Shrader Seymour.  In 1983, he married the former Joyce Ann Bane who survives.

     In addition to his wife, surviving are brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Margie Seymour, Sherman “Charlie” and Becky Seymour and Frank “Gene” and Pam Seymour; a sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Gary DeCamp; 4 step children; and many nieces and nephews. 

     Donald’s hobbies and interests included football, fishing, boating and race cars.  He was passionately involved with Seymour Brothers Racing alongside his brother Charlie Seymour in their late model #7 at the Atomic Speedway for many years.  He retired from RCA and will be sadly missed by his wife and all of his family and friends.

     In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated.  A graveside memorial service will be held and the time announced at a later date in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
