    Donna I. Gangewere, 74, of Chillicothe passed 3:41 a.m. Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Ohio State James Cancer Hospital.

     She was born January 16, 1950 in Chillicothe to Arthur D. and Edna M. Seitz Huffman.  On April 29, 1967 she married Neil D. Gangewere who preceded her on May 5, 1999.

     Surviving are children, Cheryl (Denver) Gangewere-Sevy, of Chillicothe and Neil D. (Sherilynn) Gangewere, of Ottway; grandchildren, Dylan (Cheyenne) Gangewere, Jacob, Christian and Hunter Gangewere;  great grandchildren, Nevaeh and Oliver Gangewere; several step grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Hayes, of Gainesville, GA and Jodie Gee, of Chillicothe; brothers, Ronald (Marilyn) Huffman, of Ashville, Donald (Joyce) Huffman, of Litiz, PA and A. Gary (Karen) Huffman, of Washington C.H.  She was predeceased by daughter, Amanda Gangewere and sisters, Marcella Goff and Patricia Autry.

     Donna was owner and proprietor of Gangewere Tax Service for over 35 years.

     Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2024 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Jim McFadden officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday.
