Donna J. Bethel

     Donna J. Bethel, 76, of Chillicothe, died 7:52 a.m. Sunday, September 19, 2021 in Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

     She was born April 30, 1945, in Chillicothe, to the late Walter and Doris Wiles Branham. On July 31, 1965, she married Harold G. Bethel, who died July 22, 1989.

     Surviving are a daughter, Cheryl L. (David) Bethel-Purpero; a son, Dr. Brian L. Bethel, both of Chillicothe; a granddaughter, Kaycee Bethel, of Pickerington; a brother, John (Peggy) Branham, of Londonderry; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Bethel, of Chillicothe; a special Aunt, Mary Roll, of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews.

     Donna was a member of the Richmond Dale Church of God. She was retired from the Chillicothe Horizon Telephone Company.

     Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, September 23, 2021 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Therese Lehman officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
