Donna Rae Peck

     Donna Rae Peck, 74, passed from this life on February 6, 2021 at National Church Residences following a gallant fight with COPD and is now in heaven with her parents Raymond and Eileen Peck.  Donna was born in Charleston, West Virginia on June 20, 1946.

     Surviving are siblings, Joseph (Patricia) Peck, NC and their three sons, Kenneth TX, Christopher and Will, NC.  Sisters Karen Gray, Chillicothe and her daughter Lauren, OR; and sister Cathy (James) Walker and their two children Ryan, Chicago and Lindsey (DC) Palmer Chillicothe and their children Ava and Oliver.  She has two step sisters, Shelva Russell (deceased), and Sonja Drysdale, Florida.

     Donna was employed by Horizon Telephone for almost 40 years and worked as an operator and in the repair department.  Donna always loved her fur babies and until recently had her Toby living with her.  Donna graduated in 1964 from Unioto High School.  Donna was raised in Pleasant Valley and a group of the neighborhood “kids” would get together monthly for lunch and fun until Covid arrived.  One of her most memorable adventures was going with the Pleasant Valley “kids group” to watch Dan Westfall get his star on the walk of fame in Palm Springs, CA.  Her graduating class always had fun reunions even taking a cruise. 

     Donna attended Hallsville United Methodist Church. 

     Fly high dear sister and friend and wait for the rest of us.  You are healed now and forever. 

     Due to Covid, there will be no services.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
