Edwin Long

     Edwin C. Long, 67, of Chillicothe passed 10:01 a.m. Sunday, August 31, 2025 at his residence following an extended illness.

     He was born December 31, 1957 in Chillicothe to the late Ronald E. and Barbara A. (Merritt) Long.

     Surviving are a daughter, Charity Long of Bexley; a son Austin Long of Ashville; former wife and mother of his children, Pamela Mets of Ashville; a sister, Kristi (Ken) Howard of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Marcie Jackson and a brother, David Long.

     Edwin passed with his favorite buddy and furry companion, Kane by his side. He was a retired electrician and a member of the IBEW #575.

     A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2025 in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort.  Arrangements are under the direction of WARE FUNERAL HOME.
