Eleanor Lee Richards

  Eleanor Lee Richards, 93, of Chillicothe, passed on Friday, January 16, 2026 in National Church Residences Chillicothe following an extended illness.

     She was born April 19, 1932, in Richmond Dale, Ohio, to the late Ralph Sr. and Mary McIntyre Ferrell.

     Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Diana and David Francis, of Chillicothe; grandsons, Brad Francis and Matt (Tammy) Francis; and great grandsons, Taylor and Keegan (Angie) Francis, Ethan Griffith; former husband and companion, John Butt, of Belleview, FL; and several nieces and nephews including special nieces, Joyce Jordan and Brenda Howard and a special nephew, Chuck Ferrell and his wife Cindy.  She was predeceased by former husbands, Wayne Shupe and Charles Emerson.  a sister, Bernice Kempton; brothers, Terrance, Ralph Jr. and Gene Ferrell. 

     Eleanor will be laid to rest in the presence of her family in Richmond Dale, Ohio.  There will be no public services.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
